How to Borrow

The borrowing process on JUICE Finance is designed to be seamless and user-friendly, empowering users to access leverage and engage in yield farming activities within the Blast ecosystem. Here's a step-by-step overview of how to navigate through the borrowing process:

There are risks associated with depositing collateral and borrowing from JUICE's Lending Pool. Before borrowing from the protocol you should review the risks disclosed here.

Borrowing Process

Collateral Deposits must be Wrapped ETH. You can wrap your ETH on the Borrow page along side where you make the deposits.

1. Navigate to the Borrow tab on the JUICE Finance platform.

2. Start by Clicking the Create Account button to make an Account for borrowing and farming

3. Once your account has been created, you can Deposit WETH

   1. Enter the amount of WETH to deposit and click Approve

   2. After the transactions confirms click Deposit

Upon confirmation of your deposit transaction, you gain access to borrowing up to 3x leverage. Meaning you can borrow up to 3x the USDB value of your collateral.

1. Next, to Borrow funds in USDB:

   1. Enter the amount of USDB to borrow, the amount must be less than the Remaining USDB to borrow amount shown to the right

   2. Click Borrow and confirm the transaction in your wallet

Now that you've borrowed USDB into your account, you can use it to deposit into Strategy Vaults on the Farm page. Explore the "Farm" page to deploy borrowed funds across curated strategy vaults for yield farming opportunities within the Blast ecosystem.

Withdraw Process

You can only withdraw up to the amount to of WETH that is not collateralizing a open loan at max utilization rate.

If the borrower wises to withdraw the all deposited Collateral they must complete the following steps:

1. Exit all open Vault positions

2. Pay back all open Borrowed USDB

Once the above two steps have been fully satisfied the borrower may withdraw all deposited collateral.

1. Navigate the the Borrow page

2. Enter the amount of WETH wish to withdraw

3. Click the Withdraw button

Claiming Profit

If the borrower has generate profit from the vault positions in excess of any fees, the borrower may also withdraw the profit in the form of USDB by clicking the Claim Profit button on their Account Overview.

In the scenario that a user closes all positions but still has existing debt, the user must deposit USDB on the screen scene above to repay all debt. Once this step has satisfied the user may be remove all collateral from JUICE.
